The Caring Futures program provides the skills training, confidence and practical experience to begin a rewarding career with Centacare in the aged care or disability services. Positions include Community Support Workers in Aged and Care and Disability.

For more than 50 years Centacare has been delivering services in South East Qld, providing help and creating hope for more than 150 000 people each year. We have a workforce of over 3,000 people and, with the introduction of the NDIS and Aged Care reforms, career opportunities are set to increase.

We need skilled staff to ensure we are delivering a high level of service to our clients and customers.

By successfully completing this program, you will be in the box seat for job opportunities as they arise.


About

The Caring Futures program is comprehensive employment preparation program that covers all the skills, knowledge and work experience you need to be successful in the available jobs. We will work with you to develop an individual training and support plan that meets your specific goals and needs and provide you with the training and support you need to be successful with Centacare.

Training

The training and support delivered in this program includes:

  • Job Preparation and employability skills workshops
  • Tutorial support
  • Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Centacare specific and general induction
  • First Aid
  • Work placements

Employment

Centacare employ over 300 people per year, and once you have successfully completed the training, you will be in the box seat to be considered for available jobs as they arise.
